Azerbaijan Sends More Than 36 Tons of Energy Equipment to Kyiv Region
More than 36 tons of energy equipment provided by Azerbaijan have been delivered from Ministry of Energy hubs to critical infrastructure companies in Ukraine’s Kyiv region.
Equipment delivered to critical infrastructure companies
The equipment was supplied by Azerbaijan as part of international support for Ukraine’s energy sector. It has been transferred from the Ministry of Energy’s equipment hubs to critical infrastructure enterprises in the Kyiv region.
According to the Ministry of Energy, the equipment will help speed up repair work at energy infrastructure facilities in the region.
The Kyiv Regional Military Administration also confirmed the delivery, noting that more than 36 tons of Azerbaijani energy equipment had been transferred to the region.
International support for Ukraine’s energy sector
The latest shipment is part of the broader international effort to help Ukraine maintain and restore its energy infrastructure during Russia’s full-scale war.
The Ministry of Energy reported that since the beginning of 2026, international partners have provided Ukrainian energy companies with 4,736 units of energy equipment, including generators, transformers, modular boiler houses, cogeneration units, boilers and other equipment.
The equipment is distributed among Ukrainian regions according to their needs, particularly to support repairs and strengthen the resilience of the energy system.
The Ministry of Energy thanked Azerbaijan for its continued support of Ukraine’s energy sector.
