Russian Drone Attack on Kyiv Region Injures Eight and Damages Warehouses
Eight people were injured in Russia’s latest drone attack on Kyiv region, while warehouses were damaged in three districts of the oblast. The attacks have continued for a fifth consecutive day, according to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
Eight People Injured in Kyiv Region
The number of people injured in the village of Pohreby in Brovary district has risen to eight following a Russian drone attack on Kyiv region on August 31.
According to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, the victims suffered blast injuries, closed trauma and limb wounds. They are receiving medical treatment.
Warehouses Damaged in Three Districts
Russian attacks also damaged warehouse facilities in Buchanskyi, Brovarskyi and Boryspilskyi districts.
Emergency crews are working at the affected locations, including dealing with fires caused by the attacks.
Earlier updates from the regional authorities said warehouses and a commercial facility were damaged in Brovary district, while three warehouses and an apartment building were affected in Boryspil district.
Attacks Continue for a Fifth Consecutive Day
The latest strikes are part of a prolonged series of Russian drone attacks on the Kyiv region.
The Kyiv Regional Military Administration said Russian forces had been attacking the region with strike drones for the fifth consecutive day.
The regional authorities urged residents to remain in shelters while the air-raid alert continues.
